Hilltop Radio No.37

Forecast: Bits of sunshine, bites of clouds. Méli-Mélo.

I have a whole bunch of song-lists that aren’t finished but this one had about the right amount of song and seemed the easiest to finish. The vibe isn’t much different than last week’s, maybe just flavoured a bit with the tease of spring. Just a bit.

Hilltop Radio No.36

Forecast: No particular place to go.

I wasn’t sure where I was going with this play list and it ended up ballooning to over four hours. I trimmed it back and now, well it is what it is. I should note that it starts with a track from Free co-written by Andy Fraser, who we sadly lost recently. There are a few other angels in the mix but there wasn’t any particular theme intended. Props to Phil, Mark, Danny, Porter, Rick & Richard, Joe, Dennis, Carl and whoever I unjustly missed.

Free – Bodie
The Kinks – This Time Tomorrow
Thin Lizzy – Honesty Is No Excuse (1977 remix)
Johnny Rivers – New Home
Dwight Yoakam – Long Way To Go
Sparklehorse – Maria’s Little Elbows
Crazy Horse – I Don’t Want To Talk About It
Fleetwood Mac – Songbird (Outake)
Taj Mahal – Butter
The Band – Sleeping
Val Stoecklein – Possibility I Was Wrong
Porter Wagoner & Dolly Parton – The Last Thing On My Mind
The Kendalls – Leavin’ On A Jet Plane
Michael Nesmith – Texas Morning
Chris Darrow – Take Good Care Of Myself
Joe Strummer – Coma Girl
A Camp – I Can Buy You
Flo & Eddie – Mama, Open Up
The Beach Boys – Forever
Bob Forrest – Sammy Hagar Weekend (Accoustic)

Remember: Always be buying music even if it the royalties only go to the legacy.

Hilltop Radio No.35
