Hilltop Radio No.5

Forecast: One For The Ladies…

This is the podcast I was planning on for No.4 but the rain turned it into something else. After a week of sunny yard work, well the yard work wasn’t sunny but the days were and having my iPod soundtrack the work made it a helluva lot more bearable.
It starts with a couple of rainy friendly songs but, after all, it is raining at the moment but ends up poppier than the previous mixes. And of course, it wouldn’t be one for the ladies if it didn’t include at least one Soupy Sales song.

The New Mendicants – By The Time It Gets Dark
The Wild Swans – Liquid Mercury
Every Mother’s Son – For Brandy
The Cowsills – In Need Of A Friend
Har Mar Superstar (featuring Adam Green) – Never My Love
Badfinger – Day After Day
Todd Rundgren – We Gotta Get You A Woman
Raspberries – Go All The Way
George Harrison – What Is Life?
Belle & Sebastian – Lazy Line Painter Jane
Of Might And Main – Are You Ready For Something Else?
Pernice Brothers – Bechamel
Hem – Radiation Vibe
Iain Matthews – Groovin’
The Everly Brothers – Milk Train
Frank Sinatra – I Will Drink The Wine
Soupy Sales – Green Grow The Lilacs
Camera Obscura – This Is Love (Feels Alright)
Mac Demarco – My Kind Of Woman
Foxygen – San Francisco
Scott & Charlene’s Wedding – My World
Tommy James – Ball And Chain

Alway, always, always – if you like the music – buy the music
